About the Lysimeter Research Group

The main objective of the LRG is to promote scientific and educational exchange on lysimeters and related research areas on an international level. In this context, the LRG supports scientific events, especially the Lysimeter Conferences in Raumberg-Gumpenstein (Styria, Austria), and organizes field trips to lysimeter stations and related research sites all over Europe. In addition, the LRG provides an informationhub on lysimeter facilities (European Lysimeter Platform) to promote cooperation between lysimeter researchers.
